When I arrived at the location Google maps had directed me to, I almost didn’t find the store. I was getting convinced that maybe it had gone out of business and Google just hadn’t updated yet, but after walking back and forth a bit I discovered it still exists. It is a most inconspicuous bookstore with harsh lighting which reminded me of a night shop. Not the coziest one out there, but a great place for a budget gift for a friend. There is only a limited selection of books, however chances are high you will find either a lost classic or some obscure book that can serve as a surprising gag gift. There’s definitely better book stores in Mortsel and for myself I would always prefer going to their public library but this shop definitely has its place in this town. They are as far as I know also the only store that still sells some LP’s.

Kleine kindjes (3 jaar) mogen hier niet naar het toilet. Ik heb dan maar alle spulletjes die ik al geselecteerd had moeten terugleggen om met mijn zoontje naar Hema te lopen. Gelukkig daar wel geholpen én alle spullen kunnen vinden die we nodig hadden. Jammer van deze weinig klantvriendelijke houding.

Ik weet hier altijd wat ik kan vinden en dat de stock ook terug gevuld wordt met wat er nodig is qua knutselmateriaal. Prijzen zijn ook super fijn.
Ik heb hier ook al superkoopjes gedaan in boeken en dvd's!!

Geen nieuwe uitgaven, maar dit is dan ook een boekenoutlet. Groot assortiment in uiteenlopende onderwerpen aan scherpe prijzen.
