The perfect place for all kinds of social gatherings, from family reunions and work trips, to romantic weekend getaways and group retreats! The grounds are absolutely gorgeous with amazing views of the Grand River and acres of land to explore. Many of the rooms are updated and there are several different types of accommodation (cabins, private rooms, etc.), as well as open spaces for large gatherings. The food is also incredible, and the staff are always very kind and helpful. Highly recommend!!!

Of course a big part of any conference/retreat is the group you are with, but that can only be a success of the venue is supportive and conducive to the event. Five Oaks is situated nicely in a natural setting, their facilities are comfortable with a "campsite" feel and their food is delicious and more than sufficient. If you are planning an intimate gathering that will benefit from a proximity to nature, you will find it here.

I've been to Five Oaks many times over the years. Each time has been special! The grounds are magical, situated on the picturesque Grand River and with a great walking trail in the forest. I've enjoyed personal retreats and group educational programs. The staff and facilitators are always warm, friendly and helpful. If staying overnight, the accommodations are simple, but comfortable. It's all part of the Five Oaks charm. And the food is always amazing! I highly recommend a stay there.

Such a beautiful retreat and educational centre! I've had amazing experiences attending both educational and corporate events here. The lodging, food, and amenities are great. Plus you can't beat the scenery - the river and trails are so lovely! Staff are very friendly and helpful. The new renovations are also worth noting, they've done an excellent job. Would HIGHLY recommend for your next personal, educational, professional, or spiritual retreat.

Five Oaks is a place that is very special for our family. Each summer, our child is thrilled to participate in day camps in the fields and forests at Five Oaks. He plays in the creek and floats in the river. It is always a wonderful experience. He has also benefited from swimming lessons that are hosted at Five Oaks. During the COVID19 pandemic, we enjoyed amazing meals that were prepared on site and provided for takeout - we miss those!! The whole place is warm and welcoming. There are so many diverse programs and opportunities to enjoy the space that is Five Oaks. On top of that, everyone who works there is just so lovely. We highly recommend Five Oaks for all different types of programming and experiences, no matter your age, stage or beliefs.
