Our youngest attended the school for 1.5 years and we loved it! It was great preparation for kindergarten and I feel so confident about her starting that with the skills and abilities for a successful transition. The teachers are so kind and patient, I really valued their approach focused on meeting the kids where they are in their learning and development. Also being part of the coop community as a parent was very rewarding. I enjoyed not only getting to know the other families but building our village in the local
Community.

My daughter attended NTCNS for 2 years, and it was amazing to watch her grow, learn, and explore while attending! It's a gorgeous spot right next to the water and the classroom is really cute. The teachers are wonderful with the students and always think of a variety of new and exciting activities that cater to the kids' interests. This year my daughter also really enjoyed the special guest visits by a children's musician and firefighters! There are super cute theme days (such as rainbow day, pj day, teddy bear picnic), show and tell, and social events for families for the winter holidays and a year-end graduation celebration. School pictures and a year-book were also really fun extras (that my daughter loves to look at). My daughter is really well-prepared for "big kid" school!

As a parent, it has been really great to connect with local parents working together to run the school through the co-op model.

Our 3-year-old has been attending for just under a year now and LOVES it. The teachers are excellent and keep the kids engaged with all sorts of activities while promoting their growth and development, with flexible attitudes meeting the kids where they're at. The flexibility of the 2, 3, and 5 day programs as well as the parental involvement are great. Highly recommended.

The New Toronto Cooperative Nursery School is just lovely. We sent our daughter there last year and loved it so much that we enrolled her again for a second year. Its all play based learning with wonderful teachers that take the time to observe the children and really get to know them. They get to enjoy a half day with their friends and have a great time doing it. I highly recommend this little preschool to anyone interested in a little socialization and pre kindergarten prep.
